Reformat

Hi,

I have a desktop runing windows xp and I want to reformat the hard disk and
re-install the operating system. How do I go about it.
Can someone give me the commands

Boot with your XP CD and follow instructions provided. You may have to go
into your bios and specify that the machine boot from the CD versus the hard
drive.

Boot your computer from the XP CD (consult your computer's manual for how to do this) and run setup. As part of Setup you'll be offered the opportunity to reformat your hard drive.

Just boot from the Windows XP CD and follow the prompts for a
clean installation. It will do the reformat for you.
