reformat

i need to reformat my computer but i really dotn know how
to do it... when i bought my computer it came with
windows xp already on it and it came with a recovery
disk.. can i just put in the disk and my computer will go
back to the way it was when i first bought it or is there
something else that i need to do..

A recovery disk will return your machine to the factory settings just like the day that you bought it.
