Reformat?? :S

Hey everyone,
I recently got a type of virus on my comp, which doesn't
limits my access to xp, for some reason i cant seem to
figure out how to reformat my c:/ and all the advice i've
recieved has been for 2000 bassed windows, and nothing
for xp.. any help that anyone can give would be
great..I'm pretty desprite here.. thanks

What virus is it? You shouldn't need to reformat to get rid of a
virus.

To reformat and reinstall Windows XP, just boot from the XP CD
and follow the prompts for a clean installation. It will reformat
for you as part of the process.

To add to that delete the partition before formatting otherwise you'll have
2 XP's in boot menu.
