I have a lot of my contacts in the format <First name> <Last name> and
some in the format <Last name>, <First name>.
I have changed the options to show <First name> <Last name> but some
still show in the format <Last name>, <First name>
Is it possible to Select All and do a global change. I really don't want
to manually go thorugh 200 names.
Also, the numbering format for phones is: +cc (aaa) nnnnnnn (where
c=country code, a=area code and n=number).
I want mine to be +cc-aaa-nnn-nnnn with no bracket symbols or spaces.
Is there a plugin or something whereby I can overide these settings and
formats.
Please help a frustrated user!

For the Contacts, try Tools | Preferences | Contact Options
I don't know about the phone number change
Good luck,

Tom

I have a form I created using the Microsoft Knowledge Base Library that I
can forward to you or you can create your own.

If you want to roll your own using the same article:
OL2000: How to Change the File As Field for All Contacts
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;269172&Product=out2K

You might want to try it on your own - it is deceptively easy. I did my
form a few years ago and it works on both 2000 and 2002. Have not tried it
on 2003.
