Refilling a Optra E312 laser cartridge.

I just got a refill kell for my laser cartridge ( Optra E312 ).
Since I own three soldering irons and since I can remove the top of
the cartridge, I choose not to get the full kit ( which is mainly the
soldering iron ).

Looking through the little booklet that came with the kit, I cannot
find my printer cartridge in it. Before I begin refilling the
kit I thought I would ask to be sure that I was doing it ok,
before I actually did it. I'm pretty sure that I've got it right
but I thught I would double check.

The toner cartridge has a couple of screws holding it on,
and several "snap slots". I remove the screws, I remove
the slots from their hole, and the top comes off.

Inside is a large empty region ( looks like a "bin") and on the
bottom is a roller. I figure the way to refill is to fill the bin
with powder and then put the top back on and fasten it in
place and tighten the screws.

Is this right?
Thanks

All of the DIY refill kits sold on the internet are nothing but a big
rip-off and scam.
Making holes, pouring toner in and sealing it is "barbaric". You're pretty
much guananteed
of failure.

Actually, it seems to have worked OK. Except for the part about making
holes. The top was removable, so I didn't have to make holes.
