referencing

hi, i'm making a calculating worksheet that uses different files...

because i use the same formula often in a larger formula, i put th
returning formula in cell A1...

When i need this formula i reference to A1 in the large formulas..
which makes it shorter... get's me a better overview...

but instead of using the formula in A1, it uses the value, given by th
formula in A1... how can i solve this???

(probably a stupid question, but not to me)

Hi
not possible without VBA. You can't combine formulas this way. So you
can only reference the returned value of a formula
