Hi,

i have some infomation (numbers) in other file (not excel) that file can't
be copied. i would like to get those numbers into my excel file.

eg: In that file:
ganga orders 55
neworders 10

i created excel file to do a report using that file:
ganga orders 55
neworders 10
I want those numbers come by itself... now i open both file enter them
manually..

Why don't you jusr create a "link" from one book to the other?

You don't mention the file format. If it is a text file, try to open it
using the Excel Open command. You will get an assistant that will help you
bring the data into Excel (from either delimited or fixed length). If it is
not a text file, try Data, External Data, Import Data (or similar, I am use
the French version so not sure of English command names).

Thank you.. i change that files to an excel files.. but each file gives
different cell number each time so i don't know how to link the file now...

eg:
ganga orders 55 (sometimes c15 , sometimes C21 like that)
neworders 10 (sometimes c16 , sometimes C22 like that)

and sometimes same as one file...
