I am an intermediate user of Windows XP Professional, and I'm looking for a
resource guide for my home office. What Books would you recommend that I can
purchase, and be able to reference when I have questions on how to do things,
when i have problems, etc.?

I recommend "Windows XP Inside Out, Second Edition," by Bott, Siechert, and
Stinson.

I 2nd that - it's "the bible" for most users. And the included CD-ROM
e-book is handy for quick electronic searches (it's a big, protected,
PDF).

If you can find a cheap (under $10) copy of the discontinued first edition
then buy it; the 2nd edition has new SP2-related stuff, but it's not
really that different. And the 1st edition's e-book was actually a lot
easier to use (it's a .CHM help file, which you can copy/print sections
of, and search is a lot more convienient than a PDF).
