When saving a rtf text into a rtf file, Word (2003) automatically adds many
(maybe redundant) tags.

1. How to stop Word 2003 to do this, before I open the RTF file for
processing?
2. How to clean all the redundant and unnecessary tags that Word 2003 adds
to my RTF text (and file) ?
3. Is there any other tool (or tools) for processing of RTF files that DOES
NOT add unnecessary tags to a RTF text being processed, while it is being
processed and while saving the RTF text into a RTF file ?

Thank You in advance,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

What is the complete set of steps you are using to create/modify your document when you refer to saving RTF text into an RTF file?
