Redirecting via IP

Hello,

We have moved our web pages to another ISP. I would like to redirect
visitors to our new server until the DNS settings have been properly
configured.

I tried a hyperlink to the new webserver via. IP address and when testing
it, it wouldn't work.

Is there a way to redirect the page to an IP address?

just type in http://ipaddress

However search engines will not index a site by IP address.

You might want to check the URL you hyperlinked to. If it was correct, it
should ahve worked.
