Redirected back to site when following a link

When following certian links (for example links within
Microsoft.com) I get redirected back to the original
page. There is a brief attempt to connect but then the
connection attempt ends and the original page is
refreshed. I have tried resetting my security options,
disabled my Anti-Virus Software but nothing seems to
work. Ant thoughts?

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
