graphics instead of the red x in a box in my e-mails

Someone who knew what email program you were using might be able to. And
that same person woud probably be found in an email newsgroup for the email
program you are using.

But that person would also probably like to have some useful information
from you, such as does this occur for all emails or just some, does it
depend who sent you the picture or not (can you send yourself a picture and
see it?), did it work before and just stop working or has it never worked,
etc.
