I receive a regular email newsletter and the header always displays in red.
I have tried to specify a rule to change the colour to black but this
doesn't have any effect. Is there a way to remove the colour of the header?
How do they do it? Can any other colour be used in this way?

Thank you in advance

Thank you for your reply but I couldn't find an automatic formatting with
that colour and the default font, except for 'Overdue email'. I changed the
font for overdue and it was not that.

The funny thing is that if I try to change it to black it stays red but if I
change it to blue it gets blue! I can live with it being blue since I have
just changed some categories to that same colour.

I saw a spam email in my junk folder exhibiting the same colour, which
really stands out. I think there is a trick. Maybe they raise a flag (but
importance was Normal).
It's as if they said 'Red is the new black' :-).

it sounds like they have it set with a reminder that is overdue. Set a rule
to apply to all messages and remove flags and reminders.

That's what I thought at one time, but I changed the font of overdue
messages and received a new message from the newsletter again today and it's
red (the colour change that seemed to work yesterday doesn't anymore) in not
in the font specified for Overdue messages.
