Red crosses

Does anyone have the answer as to how to stop red crosses
in a square box when pictures or gifs are sent out (or
received) which finally end up as a red cross in a square
box - it is driving me mad.
 
First, Open your Outlook Express, Go to Tools, then Options. Now click:
1. Send Tab, then
2. Mail Sending Format: HTML Setting, then
3..... make sure the "Send with Pictures" box is checked

Do you have hotbar installed?

If you are receiving email with red x's then it is most likely that the file is
not being sent as above or the file is no longer available from the source or
has been renamed etc. or the computer which is sending the email may have hotbar
installed.
