Red Ballon

There is a little red balloon with a white x in the middle that keeps showing
'your computer is infected'. Even though I'm sure I deleted pest trap
infection, it keeps coming. How do I get rid of the message?

Does the taskbar icon (red balloon) look like this?

If so, your computer may be infected.
