recycling bin

after installing mcafree uninstaller, when i delete a file
and its sent to the recycling bin the file does not show
up but if i decide to empty recycling bin the system asks
if i want to delete the number of files thats in there. i
have uninstalled the uninstaller but files still do not
show up even though they are in there.

This seems to work for many: Make sure that something is in the Recycle Bin
(delete any file). With the Recycle Bin closed, right click and choose:
Empty Recycle Bin. When the confirm box appears, click ok. Reboot. Now the
Recycle Bin should work correctly.
