Recycle Bin

Recycle Bin on desktop shows that it has items to delete. I open it up and it
is empty.I clicked on empty recycle bin and a box comes up that reads,"do you
want to delete Windows". I of course clicked cancel. How can this be
corrected? I run XP.

Try a reboot...i have heard of this before and the reboot usually takes care
of it.
