Is it possible to set the default opening method for the Recycle Bin to
maximized and "Detail" display mode?

Thank you.

You can set all windows to open maximized by clicking and dragging corners
to full size, and then closing by clicking on the 'X' while holding down
Ctrl.

Doesn't the 'Detail' view stick for you?

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

If I maximize the Recycle Bin via the Maximize button and set the view
to 'Detail', the settings are retained for the current login session,
but not after a reboot.

I just tried it with maximizing the Recycle Bin manually as you
suggested, and the settings seem to stick, even after a reboot!

I really don't know why the settings wont stay permanent. But you can try
Tools -> Folder Options -> View and set the change to apply for all windows
-- if you can live with that.

I still can't get the settings I want to be retained after a reboot.

I'm not exactly sure what options I should set/try in Tools -> Folder
Options -> View :-\

Any other ideas?

Thank you.
