Recycle bin

Just started, not sure when. When I delete a folder or
just a single file and send it to the recycle bin. When I
open the Recycle Bin there is nothing there. Did a search
for the deleted file and nothing is found.
No error messages.
Please advise.

Do you have any secondary programs installed that are set
to bypass the Recycle bin?

Right click on "Recycle Bin"
make sure there is NO "check marks" in "Do not move files to the Recyle Bin"

To my knowledge there isn't any folder or file that
circumvents the Recycle Bin.
Any other thoughts?

This was one of the first things I checked. No checkmark
in the "Do not move files to the Recyle Bin" block.
Any other thoughts?
