recycle bin question

when i open the recycle bin it looks empty but when i press emtpy bin it
says "do you want to delete these 2 items".
why cant i see them? and is there a way to see them if possible

Then click on "R" and scroll down to the Recycle Bin issues. The fix for
your problem is clearly explained there.

Hi David,

I would guess that you have some system files in there. Have you tried
"Tools>Folder Options>View>" then un-check "Hide protected operating
system files"?

Most likely there are no system files in his recycle bin. This problem has
