Recycle Bin Intermitantly Acting Strange

Dear All,

I have a problem that has happen quiet a bit to me, various installs of XP
(as I re-install my machine every 6-12 months or so) and at various times
(there is no set pattern to when it happens).

I empty the recycle bin, and the icon is still showing content, so when I
right click and choose "Empty Recycle Bin", sometimes I get and message box
confirming I want to delete one file, and the file is different, I've had
"D4", "D2", "Windows", and a few other I can't think of now.....

After the machine is restarted the recycle bin is then showing as empty, I
don't have any spyware/viruses/malware on my machine, and have minimal
things running when the machine is on....

I'm wondering if this is a Windows traite, a bug, or simlar....

Thanks in advance.

Paul.

Go to Kelly's site at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm, click on
"R" and scroll to recycle bin for some tips.
