Recycle Bin corrupt

Hi,
need a bit of advice please. I use windows washer to clean my disc each day
when window shuts down. I have noticed that lately when it gets to cleaning
the recycle bin it stops and a warning comes up that the recycle bin is
corrupted, and do I want to empty the bin. I have to say yes or Windows
washer does not continue to clean, hence window doesn't shut down. Any
help would be appreciated
