Although my network password is stored in account information in Outlook and
the
Remember Password checkbox is checked the pop up asking for my network
password keeps coming up when I am running outlook. I seem to remember a
registry change that needed
to be made to cause this to stop. Could some one remind me how to do this or
point me to an MS knowledge base article on how to resolve this? I search
through the KB but didn't see anything that looked relevant

thanks

Usually when this happens it is because the remembered password is
incorrect. Then you enter the correct password and it all works. The thing
to do is re-enter your password in Outlook's account settings.

The above also applies to Internet Explorer and other applications that use the Protected Storage System Provider registry key to store passwords.
