I have outlook 2003 I sent an e-mail invitation three weeks ago that set up
as a recurring event on those calendars of those who accepted the invitation.
My problem is that every week they receive an e-mail from me asking them to
accept the invitation each week I don’t want an e-mail to going out asking
them to accept every week what do I need to do to stop that from happening?

Hi Mark,

It seems that you do not want the Outlook to send a notification of this
invitation to others.

Usually when you have arranged and sent a meeting, it will not be sent for
the second time. Only a reminder will pop up at the time you set. Regarding
your situation, I suggest you try the following steps first to see if this
issue can be resolved.

1. Open the recurring task (in this case, the invitation) you want to stop.
2. On the Actions menu, click Recurrence.
3. Click Remove Recurrence.
4. Click Save and Close to update this invitation.

If it does not work, then this scenario is most caused by an add-in in
Outlook. To clear it, follow the steps below:

* Clear all Add-Ins in Outlook.
==================

1. Start Outlook.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
3. Click Advanced Options, and then click Add-In Manager and COM Add-Ins
respectively.
4. In both Add-in boxes, click to clear the check boxes for the add-ins.
5. Click OK three times.
6. Restart Outlook and all add-ins should be disabled at that time.

Please test the issue by re-arrange another meeting. If the issue does not
occur, please follow the steps below to determine the affected add-in.

1 Click to enable one add-in and then restart Outlook to check if the
problem re-occurs.
2 Add one check back each time to the list of Add-In Manager or COM
Add-Ins, restart Outlook, and repeat the above procedure.
3 Once the issue reappears, you can determine which add-in causes this
problem and then disable it to solve the problem.

If this does not work, please tell me the steps you have used to create
this meeting request, and also answer the following questions for further
research:

* Information Collection
==================

1. Have you applied all the updates on Office 2003?
2. Does this occur on another user account? What about a new one?
3. Does this also occur when you arrange an Appointment?
4. Do you have any version of Office other than Office 2003 co-exists on
the system?
