Recurring appts won't open in 2003

I have been using OUtlook 2003 for a long time now with
very few issues (I use the cached server mode). Starting
yesterday I can no longer open any recurring appts on my
calendar. I get the following error: "Can't open this
item. The object could not be found." I can open non-
recurring appts. And I can open the recurring if I am in
the recurring appt view (not the day/week/month view).

Also,
I cannot get the right-click menu to appear when I right-
click on any existing appt, task, or email. It does work
when I right-click generically in Outlook.

Please help.

You may want to try clearing the forms cache.

If you close outlook
Perform a FIND (click on desktop and press <F3>)
(If you are using XP or W2K operating system be
sure to look in hidden files)
Look for FRMCACHE.DAT file.
Delete it from the find window.
Restart Outlook.

When you restart Outlook it will rebuild a fresh new
FRMCACHE.DAT file.

Outlook uses forms for everything. Sometimes these
get corrupt and need to be rebuilt.

application of the Outlook hotfix update:

Outlook 2003 Hotfix Package: December 17, 2003 (830003)

The rerun the set up and update with new features to re-install th
forms.
