Recovery of lost files/data

Some files have been deleted from my windows xp machine by mistake - I need to retrive these files, I've heard there's ways of doing this - anyone know how I can do this

If they're still in the recycle bin, you can simply
restore them. If not, then you need to do a search on
Google for "undelete"
