Recovery disc

Can I use my recovery disc to boot into the recovery
console on another computer? Both machines have XP but
only one came with a recovery disc.

"Sometimes" Recovery Disc's are made by the maker of your PC's. Most of
the time a recovery disc will ONLY run on the exact hardware the PC was sold
with. Contact the maker of your PC's for more info about it.

A recovery disk is not an install disk, it may be just an
image of the OEMs delivered computer and may not have the
tools you get on a install CD.
