Ok - I need to do the above however receive the access denied messege. I
know that you can

use the Set command to change system variables in the Recovery Console
environment. By default, the Set command is disabled. To enable it, you must
change system settings using the Group Policy tool., etc etc.

However as I cannot access windows in any form

Is there a way of enabling the Set command from within the recovery console?

Any help would be greatl;y appreciated.

Hi

No I don't think so - you have to be able to access Windows & gpedit to
enable a specific setting to be able to use the SET command in the Recovery
Console.
