recovering user profile

wnat to restore it back is it possible in windows 2000

The only true way to do it is to restore your SAM from your backup media ...
You can re-add a user ID, but it will have a different SID and it will be
extremely messy to copy all the settings back over ...

Hello Rob,
He stated that he deleted the uer profile not the actual user. The restore
options should work in that case.
