How remove profile in Windows 7 Professional?

I was testing Windows 7 for the company and somewhere in my stuff I caused
real problems in one profile. I did more or less what I usually do in XP and
just deleted the users folder under Users. Now when I log in with that logon
instead of creating a new profile, it says that it is a temporary profile,
etc., etc. I found nothing in TechNet about this. What is the correct way to
remove a profile in Windows 7?

If I don't reply immediately, it is because I don't get the reply messages
automatically for some reason.
