Recovering files using Windows Backup utility

After backing up my hd using the Windows Backup utility I tried to use the
utility's Restore feature to recover just a single file but I could not
determione how to do that. Is a single file restore feature available from
the bkf file?

If you are using the Backup Wizard:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup
Select "Restore files and Settings"
from the Left side pane navigate to the folder with the files in it
select the files on within the right pane window by placing a check mark in
the box next to the file or files
