recovering deleted sent mail

Is there a way to recover deleted sent mail? I was able to recover the
Deleted Items using Recover Deleted Items but it only recovered items itn the
Deleted Folder.

You need to contact your Exchange Administrator. They will know the
procedure.

I am the exchange admin but new to it. Can you tell me how it is done?

I read somewhere else that the sent items that were deleted are recovered
because they also go to the deleted items folder. Is that true?
 
Using the "dumpsteralwayson" method, you can recover items
from any exchange mailbox folder or public folder.
