Recovering deled items

How can I recover items that I accidentally deleted while working in
FrontPage 2003? The items aren't going to the recycle bin. Are they going
to some other folder I don't know about? It doesn't seem that it would be
impossible to restore them, but I'm not finding anything. This was a full
web page that was completely saved.

Only if you have a copy of the web published someplace else (or your host has a backup copy for an online web)

If you viewed the page in a browser on your hd it might still be in your
cache.

Always back up webs.

If you really saved it, it will be there someplace.
By default FP saves to my docs>my webs>gives a number and called it MySite3
for example

use the search assistant
look for .html docs created between certain dates
you may find it's there
sometimes we all save stuff to the wrong folder and it really is on the hard
drive just not where we think we put it.

Not if it was deleted in FrontPage. FrontPage wipes files completely.
It may be recoverable using an undelete utility, but that is the only
way unless there is a backup (backups include a copy published to the
internet), or, as Tina suggested, a copy in the Temporary Internet
Files folders.
