Recovering an inserted picture.

I inserted a picture in an Excel worksheet and then I deleted th
picture from my hard drive and also emptied the Recycle Bin. Is ther
a way that I can recover that image from the worksheet so that I ca
use it for html files? I do not remember what file type it was (jpg
gif, btmp). I also have it in a Word doc if that would be any easier

Couldn't you copy it out of word and paste into your favorite picture editor and
save from there?

Thanks for the reply. I had tried that in MS Paint, but got very poo
quality image. Then I found a program I did not even know I had.

MS Imaging.

When I used that it worked. I was able to select between the thre
file formats. Looks like I cried wolf to soon. Thanks again

If you deleted it recently, you should be able to go to the recycle bin and select "Undelete" from the pulldown menu. Then find the JPG and click "RESTORE"
