recover track changes once accepted and doc closed

If a document has been edited by a number of people in track changes and you
receive the final copy. After accepting the changes and saving/closing the
doc. is it possible to open it and recover the edits?
 
No. Once changes have been accepted and the file saved and closed, that's
it, they're just part of the document.
