Hi all,
I've just disabeled the 'offline files' option on a XP client and rebooted
the system.
Now it seems this laptop hasn't synchronised with the server in weeks due
to a network problem, and all offline files have dissapeared cause of
disabling this feature.
So all data of the last week is not the client but also not on the
server's share

Caution You cannot undo the effects of reinitialization. After the cache
is reinitialized, alle offline files are permanently removed from the
computer."
Does anyone have a suggestion on howto recover these 'lost' offline files.
Normally these files are stored in some flat database files under
C:\windows\CSC That directory was gone but I could recover that dir with
'Handy Recovery' but the content is not the normal *.doc etc as I'd
expected but dirs like d1, d2, d3 etc with some 805880 kinda syntax
files in it.
There seems to be a tool called csccmd.exe wich is part of the 2003
server's resource kit to manipulate CSC but it hasn't done the trick for
me, the only downloadable version of csccmd.exe from MS's site is 1.0
and only 1.1 has the extract switch witch looks promising.
All suggestions are greatly appriciated!
