I am an idiot. And I am a NOOB. So I set up a domain name for my network and
configured my admin password and some other user accounts. Then I changed my
network setup from the domain to a workgroup. Unfortunately under the new
workgroup I must use the default admin password which I have forgotten.
Because I am a NOOB I reinstalled W2000 into a new directory path hoping I
could copy the password info from the new installation back to the old
installation.

Q: Can I do that? If so what files do I need to copy? If not is anyone
willing to spend a couple of emails helping this idiot out?

thanks for any help you can offer.
