Recover deleted message ???

Hello all,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find anything on
it...sorry.

How can I recover a deleted message in Outlook 2002 (and running on XP
Home). The message I need to recover was received and deleted about 2 weeks
ago. Can I still recover this? If so, how?

THANKS in advance for any help !!!

Is it perhaps in your Deleted Items folder? If you deleted it from there,
or if you use a hard delete (Shift+Del), it's gone. There are services that
will charge for retrieving deleted items from your .pst file but will only
work if the file hasn't been compacted yet whether automatically by Outlook
or manually by you. I've heard you can also try using DBXTRACT to get at
the delete-marked items but, again, if the file has been compacted then the
delete-marked items were physically purged from the file so they aren't they
anymore to yank out. Got backups?

Oops, never mind about DBXtract. Just did a Google search on it. It's for
Outlook Express' .dbx files.
