Hi,
My winxp installation became corrupted and failed to boot. I did not want to
loose it all so I used the installation CD to install a second winxp OS to
C:\windows2. The new OS boots but it is useless and provides no access to
old OS. Old OS now boots up to a message, "There is an IP conflict with
another system on the network", (not true) Then it hangs.
Is there any chance that I can recover the old winxp OS with all its data
and programs? Safe boot mode (F8) does not work with the old OS.
