Records do not show in subform

Records do not show in subform.

After upgrading to Access2007 from Access97 the entries in a subform do not
show, on the form -- neither previous entries nor those that I now enter.

I have messed with relationships and the Link Child Fields and Link Master
Fields properties of the subform, but no luck. I’ve looked in the table and
the entries are there. The records just do not show in the subform.

I appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks

Records to be displayed in a form (or subform) can come directly from a
table or from a query. How are you "feeding" the subform in question?

If you aren't using a query, try building a query that does return records,
then setting the subform's source to that query.

Does that make a difference?

Also, have you checked the properties of the subform to see if it has the
DataEntry property set to Yes? If it is, you would only be able to add (but
not see) records.

all of JB's suggestions are good....I only have one other; consider deleting
the subform and re-inserting it....

this falls into the category of "don't ask me why it works..." though 97
to 07 is a pretty big jump....maybe worth a try....

Jeff,

Thanks for your reply
I created a query based on the table and set it as the source. No help --
comes up with some record numbers now, but the wrong records.
In Properties, the DataEntry was set to NO.

I also tried Networks idea of deleating and reinstalling the form. Also no
go.

Other ideas?

Thanks for your help

The only thing that finally worked was deleting the old form and creating an
entire new subform, and inserting it into the mainform.
Believe me I tried everything. Weird but that's computers.
On the other hand this was the only glitch from conversion of Access97 to
Access2007.

Hope this may help someonelse.
