Recording Internet Radio

Forgive me gang if this is the wrong group but I have had an idea that I
dont know if it will work. What do I need to record Internet Radio to a
rewritable CD that I can play on a portable CD player. Do they make a stand
alone recorder that I can plug in to the PC that will record the radio to a
CD. Any advice you can provide to this newbie is gratefully accepted

Hi:

If you have a Sound card that will record AND play at the same time, you
could record into an audio player while streaming. THen once you stop the
radio and recording, dump th audio onto a CD-R as audio

I at one time used an old soudcard to get audio to record and play even
though it was tricky to setup.

I can not remember the name, but Winamp has a plug-in (free) that will
stream rip the audio steaming to seperate audio files. That woked well way
back when.


I do not know of an all-in-one streaming to ripping to burning application.
Probably cause if they did, Somethign can happen to your stream and cause a
coaster to be burned or maybe speed transfer problems.
