hey all

My gf was given a really old laptop which has win95 installed. I don't want
to upgrade it because i think the hardware would choke. Secondly, all the
drivers for the hardware are working and I dont want to frig around with it.

I need to install virus protection so that she doesn't infect her computer
from email attachments or from her friends file swapping.

I have NAV 02/03 but that does not support win95 and could be a bit bloat
for her old computer.

What virus protection software do you recomend? I don't mind paying a little
$ if its perfect, but something free would be better.

cheers

Have a go with F-Prot:.

http://www.f-prot.com/products/home_use/win/

As you can see, it runs on Win 95.

They would swap probably just via the old floppy discs.

Or email, but that it covered under attachments

F-PROT. Just train her (them) to R-click | Send To F-prot the
file(s) before dragging them to HD.
