Recommendation for quiet optical drive?

I'm buying a Pioneer 708 as my main drive..and I'd like to get another
drive, and one that is preferably quiet.

Not sure whether to get another drive that can play dvds..or another writer.

I'm looking at LG, Samsung and another Plextor...

Oh..gotta be in black too...

I have been using either Sony or Samsung drives lately, both makes have been
quiet in operation. Both are available as black drives on Scan.
(www.scan.co.uk)

Why not get a combo CD 52x burner that can read DVDs? they cost about £38,
best of both worlds then.
