Recommendation for quiet and effective socket 478 CPU HSF

Finding the right HSF for my second system is turning out to be a
bigger problem than I thought. I'm looking for something at least as
quiet and more effective than the stock Intel HSF that came with the
CPU (P4 2.40). The obvious solution would seem to be the Zalman
CNPS7000A-Cu, but it won't fit (PSU is in the way).

Any suggestions? The Cooler Master ISB-V73 may be a possibility, but
I can't find a good independent review. That second system is the one
I use to process movies, so I'd like something that will drop the CPU
temp and maybe even permit a little OCing.

The temp usually peaks at about 54C* when the CPU works at or near
100% for several hours (it's about 29C or 30C when idling).

For overclocking the best HSF is the SLK, for general the flower cooler,
have you checked on the low profile version of the flower cooler re fitment?

If you have a fan port behind the CPU on the rear of the case which is
unfilled, put a fan in there set to extract. That will reduce the tendency for
whatever HSF you choose to recirculate it's own air - which in turn will
require more cfm to compensate and more noise (or higher CPU temps).

What about the Zalman 65000Cu-B?
There is a lot info on quiet here http://www.silentpcreview.com/
Good case air flow can help cooling a lot also. That does not have to be a
lot of fans, just good vents. I run an Athlon 64 with one 120 exhaust fan on
5v. I also have a 400w Coolmax PSU with a bottom 120mm fan to draw air from
the CPU and it is very quiet (and only $42).

Thanks to everybody for the suggestions. I modded just enough to
install a Zalman 7000A-AlCu (which I already had). It works great and
together with Arctic Silver 5 has lowered temps about 10 degrees C.

I'm going to be needing a HSF for another system that can't
accommodate a 7000-A no matter what and will start with all your
suggestions.
