"recommeded program"

I right-clicked an MP4 file, clicked OPEN WITH|CHOOSE DEFAULT PROGRAM...
but inadvertently chose Adobe Reader 7, which now appears in the
"recommended programs" list. How can that item be removed from the list?

Have searched REGEDIT for...

MP4
OPEN WITH
ADOBE READER 7.0
RECOMMENDED PROGRAMS

Nothing found. It's hiding somewhere. Where?

Right click on an mp4 file. Select 'open with'. From the list of programs
displayed, pick something more appropriate. Ensure that the 'Always use the
selected program ....... ' checkbox is checked..

I understand how to OPEN WITH a different program. My puzzlement is how to
remove the spurious entry in the list.
Not necessary, I know.^
