recomendations on small free fast mail progy

Windows ME, dialup, text only mail send and receive with ability to
handle attachments if possible . . .

I still have Netscape 4.7 on my system, just for mail, and want to
ditch it. Thunderbird works fine but takes long to load.
 
I use jbmail since a couple of years, as a fast replacement
for the main mail program. I also used it on a floppy in internet
coffes.... the free version allows you only one user account.
