Recomendation for free screen capture prog

Perhaps I spoke too vaguely. Although I did say screen cap.

PhotoFiltre is a general image editing app. FastStone is the first
fully featured *dedicated screen cap* which offers web page scrolling
as freeware.

However, it seems to work only with Internet Explorer. I couldn't get it
to capture a scrollable webpage in Netscape Navigator 7.2. If I'm doing
something wrong, please advise...

my experience too :-( using netscape 7.1. If faststone should run only
with IE, it should be mentioned somewhere.

I hadn't. It wasn't propagated to me before I wrote that post.
I wasn't aware of those. Despite their limitations, looks like I would
have to narrow down my statement so much to make it accurate that it's
really not worth it :). I'll stand corrected.
