Recipients don't receive attachments sent with Outlook 2007

Can someone help me make whatever changes necessary, so recipients will be
able to receive attachments I send using Outlook 2007. I'm operating Windows
7 Home Premium 64 bit version. Everything worked fine until I installed
Windows 7 and reinstalled Office 2007.

Are these recipients not using Outlook? If this is the case, change your
default format from RTF to plain text or HTML.
