I am a new user of Windows Vista. For enhanced readability, I have the High
Contrast feature turned on, so my screen is black with white text. In Windows
Mail, under Tools Option Send, I have selected HTML mail sending format.

I have just discovered that some recipients cannot read my e-mails. They get
a black screen and invisible text. One person is using Outlook 2003.

Is there some way to solve this problem, short of undoing the High Contrast
feature every time I create and send e-mail? The traditional white screen
with black text is extremely difficult for me to read.

Did you ever find a solution for this? My sister-in-law is having the same
problem.

Yes. Leave High Contrast On.

In WIndows Mail, click on Tools, Options, Send. Under Mail Sending Format,
select Plain Text. Do the Same for News Sending Format. Click OK.

That's it. It limits your mail sending options but it seems to be the only
fix.

Otherwise, HTML formats the mail text as white and it appears invisible on
other people's screens.
