recgonizing hardware

my motherboard will not recgonize my agp video card. is there any thing you can do that will make it recgonize it?

Your motherboard won't recognize the card?
That's hardware.

Try the Video Card in another machine. Does it see it?
If not - the video card is bad, if so, perhaps your motherboard is bad -
contact the appropriate manufacturer.

Try installing the DRIVERS for the card.
What kind of AGP card is it? ATI, Nvidea, S3, SiS?

Windows will NOT auto install drivers for ALL cards, esp new cards
since 2002.
